Over the weekend, University of Missouri students from Pi Kappa Phi and Love Coffee joined forces for a heartwarming event benefiting Special Olympics Missouri athletes. The collaboration brought together individuals from different backgrounds to participate in a Unified game night, fostering connections and spreading joy throughout the community.

Emma Thomas, Senior Manager of Unified Champion Schools, expressed her enthusiasm for the event, highlighting the significance of the connections formed during the games. “It was heartwarming to witness connections forming as everyone played games together,” Thomas remarked. “This is such a fantastic way to build relationships before hitting the field for Unified sports in the fall.”
