Special Olympics Missouri athletes team up with Missouri State students to play Unified flag football

Missouri State Flag Football 9-14-22

SPRINGFIELD – Special Olympics Missouri (SOMO) held a Unified Intramural Flag Football competition at Missouri State University (MSU) on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022.

Several MSU students came out to play with our SOMO athletes at Taco Bell Field. Moving forward, the weekly competition will continue each Tuesday starting at 6 p.m. until Oct. 18.

Special Olympics Missouri

Special Olympics Missouri is a year-round program of sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Thousands of athletes participate in 16 Olympic-type sports throughout the state.
