Special Olympics Missouri athletes team up with Missouri State students to play Unified flag football
SPRINGFIELD – Special Olympics Missouri (SOMO) held a Unified Intramural Flag Football competition at Missouri State University (MSU) on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022.
Several MSU students came out to play with our SOMO athletes at Taco Bell Field. Moving forward, the weekly competition will continue each Tuesday starting at 6 p.m. until Oct. 18.
There is no cost for SOMO athletes to participate, but they must complete the required forms and register by emailing Jana Fornelli at fornelli@somo.org.
