St. Louis Metro Area Flag Football Tournament: September 8
The St. Louis Metro Area Flag Football Tournament took place on September 8, 2024, at Holt High School in Wentzville, MO. A huge thank you to the football team players from Liberty High School and the women’s lacrosse team from Lindenwood University for volunteering their time and energy to make this event special.
We kicked off the day with a generous check presentation from our key volunteers, Angie Clark and Phil McHenry (pictured), who host a fundraising golf tournament each summer through their organization, Fore Love of the Game. Eight teams, including two from the Crossroads agency in the Southeast Area, competed in both Regulation and Unified divisions. The weather was beautiful, and the competition was fierce!
Thank you to all the athletes, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who made this tournament a fantastic experience for everyone involved!
