Texas Roadhouse Tip-A-Cop: Tuesday, September 25

Cape Girardeau raised over $3,000 at the Texas Roadhouse Tip-A-Cop on Tuesday! Thank you to the law enforcement officials who helped make this event possible and to everyone who came out and supported our SOMO athletes!

KC Metro Unified Flag Football Intramural League: Wednesday, September 27

It’s week four of UMKC Unified Flag Football Intramurals! If you missed last week, there is one more opportunity to play on Wednesday, October 4. Click here to get more information!

Special Learning Center at Training for Life Campus: Wednesday, September 27

The Special Learning Center had some fun at the Training for Life Campus on Wednesday! We love Inclusive Health!

KC Metro – Royals Game: Saturday, September 30

The Royals hosted Special Olympics Missouri and Special Olympics Kansas on Saturday, September 30 for their 6:10 p.m. game! Athletes and coaches got free tickets and parking passes.

What a fun day at the K!

LETR Golf Tournament: Saturday, September 30

The LETR golf tournament at LaPlata Golf raised over $3,000 for Special Olympics Missouri, North Area athletes! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our athletes!

Renaissance Festival: Saturday, September 30- Sunday, October 1

SOMO is partnering with the KC Renaissance Festival for its 46th festival by working a booth selling and serving food! If you would like to get involved, there are future opportunities throughout October. Costumes are provided by the festival, and you will be asked to “play the part” by using medieval terms, wearing the costume, etc. This event helps raise money for SOMO athletes!
