Here’s a look back at all of the amazing Special Olympics Missouri (SOMO) events from November 12-18, 2024!

Show Me MO Fashion Show: Tuesday, November 12

On November 12, SOMO hosted its first-ever Show Me MO Fashion Show in Kansas City. The event featured SOMO athletes modeling outfits provided by local KC businesses. Click here to read the full recap article on this event! Attendees enjoyed dinner, dessert, shopping, games, and a silent auction, all while supporting SOMO programs in the KC Metro area. The night was a huge success, raising funds to benefit sports, leadership, and health initiatives for our athletes. Click here to view some news coverage of the event!

Southwest Area Bowling: Thursday, November 14 & Friday, November 15

Southwest Area Bowling competitions took place on November 14 and 15 at Fourth Street Bowl in Joplin. Middle and high school students from schools across the area, including Joplin North, East, and South Middle Schools, Carl Junction Intermediate, Joplin High School, Carl Junction High School, and others, showcased their bowling skills

Central Area Bowling Tournament-Salem: Thursday, November 14

The Central Area Bowling Tournament was held on November 14 in Salem. Athletes competed in a full day of bowling at the local alley. Amazing job to all the athletes who attended!

Waynesville Local Bowling Tournament: Friday, November 15

On November 15, athletes in the Waynesville area participated in a local bowling tournament, bringing together friends, families, and fans. Thank you to everyone who came out for this event!
