SOMO Sum ups Nov. 30th – Dec. 6th

Southwest Area – Don’t feel like cooking for dinner? No worries, we got you covered. Please consider dining at one of these restaurants to help raise money for Southwest Area athletes State Games. See flyer below.

Join us for the 1st Mindful Midweek event Wednesday between 4:30pm – 6:30pm. Our activities will change weekly, and we will post ahead of time what we are doing. Nov. 19th is board games night. Bring your favorite board/card game and stop in.

KC Metro Area – Calling all 18-year-olds and older Jackson County Athletes! Nicole Noblet is one of our SOMO Athletes and is also a Peer Resource Specialist at Eitas. She is leading Good Life Groups, which are designed to help people plan and advocate for their good life using the Chartering Life Course tool. This group begins Jan. 14th, 2026, from 4-5pm. St. Louis Metro Area – The 2025 Hot Chocolate Run in Kufman Park has again selected Special Olympics Missouri as the Charity of choice for their event! We are still looking for volunteers to help us collect bib tag donations at the finish line this Sunday, Dec. 7th. Visit our VolunteerHub site to register to help!

Central Area – Join us for a Christmas Drone Show at the Training for Life Campus Tuesday, December 9th presented by Starstruck Drone Shows. It is sure to be magical! Parking opens at 6:00pm and the show begins at 6:45pm.
