Central Area – On Saturday November 15, we hosted our Central Area Bowling Tournament in Columbia, MO. We had over 500 athletes compete with us! We were also fortunate to have officers from Osage Beach, Jefferson City, WERDCC, and MSHP join us to award medals. It was a great way to end the year, and we can’t wait to see everyone again next year! 

Southwest Area – Athletes from 20 Southwest Area Teams participated in 3 of 9 area bowling tournaments last Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Some amazing performances by our athletes with several “firsts” for so many of them: first strike, first bowling tournament, first time getting 8 strikes in a row…the list goes on! Cryptic Tattoo and Social Parlor hosted a flash sale on Saturday, November 15 to benefit Southwest Area programs. It was an awesome day with several parents, athletes, and supporters at the event. Thank you to the Staff at Cryptic Tattoo and Social Gallery for a great day! We had a successful event raising money for the Southwest Area.

St. Louis Metro Area – The St. Louis Metro Area registered 560 bowlers for this weekend’s Area Bowling Tournament, and everyone left the lanes with an award in hand and smile on their faces!  Thank you for the amazing support from our coaches, athlete families, lane volunteers, and local law enforcement!  Windsor High School was an amazing host for our final day of bowling in Jefferson County! Student bowlers showed off their skills on the lanes and had a great time with their high school volunteer buddies!

Kansas City Metro Area – We are so grateful for the Knights of Columbus Council # 5586 for their continued support of Special Olympics Missouri through the Paul Vargo Memorial Golf Tournament each year! Thank you to our Crafting Club for being in attendance for the check presentation! This year, the donation was $8,219.16!
