Poplar Bluff High School National Banner Celebration: Tuesday, May 7
Poplar Bluff High School received National Banner Recognition from Special Olympics Missouri! They’re one of 5 schools in Missouri achieving 10 standards of excellence in inclusive programming. The celebration featured a pep assembly, Unified Basketball showcase, and support from the superintendent and mayor. Maison Dennis, a SOMO athlete, emphasized the importance of continuing inclusion efforts. PBHS stands out with an intergenerational leadership team and a wide variety of Unified sports and leadership opportunities.

Sophia Fazel Northland Invitational: Saturday, May 11
On May 11th, young athletes (21 years & younger) gathered to compete in the Sophie Fazel Northland Invitational School-aged Track Meet. It was a day filled with inspiring performances and incredible sportsmanship!
Congratulations to all the athletes who showcased their talent and dedication. Your hard work and determination truly shone through on the track. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event a success!
