Capital City and Helias Game for SOMO: Tuesday, March 19

What a blast! We had an epic showdown between Capital City and Helias teams on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, all in support of Special Olympics Missouri. Thanks to everyone who came out to cheer on our athletes!

UMKC Kickball: Tuesday, March 19

We kicked it into high gear on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, at UMKC’s kickball event. It was a day full of laughter, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories. Big thanks to everyone who joined us for the fun!

Southwest Area Open House: Thursday, March 21

Our Southwest Area Open House on Thursday, March 21st, 2024, was a hit! It was awesome meeting new faces and sharing all the exciting opportunities Special Olympics has to offer. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello!

Runge Nature Center Visits TLC: Thursday, March 21

Nature came to us on Thursday, March 21st, 2024, when the Runge Nature Center paid a visit to our Training for Life Campus. Our athletes had a blast exploring the great outdoors right in our own backyard. Thanks to everyone who made it a day to remember!

KC Metro Soccer Clinic: Friday, March 22

The field came alive with excitement on Friday, March 22nd, 2024, at the KC Metro Soccer Clinic! Athletes showcased their soccer skills and teamwork, making it an unforgettable day on the pitch. Huge thanks to everyone who joined us for this fantastic event!

Coaches Training: Saturday, March 23

What an amazing day of learning and growth we had on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, at our Coaches Training session. Huge shoutout to all the dedicated coaches who came out to sharpen their skills and support our athletes. You rock!

NAIA Basketball Skills Clinic: Sunday, March 24

It was all about hoops and skills on Sunday at the NAIA Basketball Skills Clinic. Athletes had a blast fine-tuning their basketball skills and making new friends. Way to go, team!

Culver’s Scoopie Night: Wednesday, March 27

We scooped up some fun on Wednesday at Culver’s Scoopie Night! It was a delicious way to support Special Olympics Missouri while enjoying some tasty treats. Thanks to everyone who came out to make it a sweet success!

KC Metro Coaches Pickleball Training: Saturday, March 30

Calling all pickleball enthusiasts! Saturday was all about honing those pickleball skills at the KC Metro Coaches Pickleball Training. Thanks to all the coaches who came out to learn and support our athletes! Keep swinging those paddles!
