Here’s a look back at all of the amazing Special Olympics Missouri (SOMO) events from July 25-31.

Smoothie King Celebration: July 28

The Joplin Smoothie King partnered with Special Olympics Missouri on Friday, July 28 for its Summer Celebration! 100% of sales went directly to Special Olympics Missouri, which raised $2,293 for SOMO. The Springfield Smoothie King, located at 4406 S. Campbell Ave. also hosted a Summer Celebration earlier in July, which raised an additional $1,958 for SOMO! In total, these two Smoothie King’s raised $4,251 for SOMO. Thank you Smoothie King!

North Area and Kansas City Metro Area Flag Football Tournament: July 29

The North Area and Kansas City Metro Area Flag Football Tournament was held on Saturday, July 29 at Savannah Middle School. The tournament was unfortunately rained out after the competition got underway. Here are a few photos before the severe weather rolled in!
