Here’s a look back at all of the amazing Special Olympics Missouri (SOMO) events from July 23-29, 2024!

Card Making with Coach Sally

Thank you for joining us for Card Making with Coach Sally! All cards that were made will be featured in the Picture Me Perfect Art Crawl on October 6th. The sessions were held on Wednesday, July 24, from 2-3:30 pm and 5:30-7 pm.

North Area / KC Metro Flag Football

The North Area / KC Metro Flag Football event took place on July 26, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Nice job to all the athletes who competed!

State Pickleball Tournament

The SOMO State Pickleball Tournament was held on Saturday, July 27, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, at the Firley YMCA in Jefferson City. Thank you to everyone for coming, and congratulations to all the athletes who participated. Stay tuned for a recap article from this event coming soon with more pictures and details!

Smoothie King Grand Opening Benefiting SOMO

The grand opening of Smoothie King took place on July 30th and 31st, from 7 am to 9 pm, at 309 W. Sunshine St, Springfield, MO 65807. Thank you for joining us to support Special Olympics Missouri! During the event, 30% of all sales were donated to SOMO. We hope you enjoyed a delicious smoothie and helped make a difference in our community. Drink a Smoothie, Make a Difference!
