SOMO Sum Ups: Jan 21-27
Here’s a look back at all of the amazing Special Olympics Missouri (SOMO) events that took place this week!
Southwest Local Basketball: Tuesday, January 23
Webb City High School hosted the Southwest Area Local Basketball Tournament on Tuesday, January 23. This Unified Basketball event brought athletes together for a day of fun and competition. A big thank you to Webb City High School and their volunteers for making this event possible!
2025 Polar Plunge Kansas City: Saturday, January 25
The 2025 Polar Plunge in Kansas City was a chilling success on Saturday, January 25! Around 575 brave plungers took the icy plunge, raising over $174,000 to support Special Olympics Missouri athletes. Participants enjoyed a fun-filled day with music, costumes, and a vibrant atmosphere. A huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported this event—your contributions make a real difference. Stay tuned for more photos and recap content coming soon!
KC Pickleball Series: Sunday, January 26
