Training for Life Campus Events: All Week!

TLC events are back for the new year! Check out the schedule below for all the amazing January opportunities coming up, including our 8-week “Healthy Hustle” program. Don’t miss out on these recurring classes and activities!

Healthy Hustle Class: Wednesday, Feb. 21

Healthy Hustle is an 8-Week program with the goal to meet the needs of each athlete, while within a group setting. This week, athletes participated in basketball drills. Make sure to check out the TLC’s calendar for information on when Healthy Hustle is held. 


Higginsville Valentines Day Shootout: Wednesday, Feb. 21

The Higginsville Valentine’s Day Shootout, at Lafayette County High School, brought the community together for a day filled with love, laughter, and basketball! Players of all ages and skill levels showcased their talent and passion on the court, spreading joy and excitement throughout the tournament

Healthy Habits Class: Thursday, Feb. 22

Healthy Habits class encourages Athletes to learn new healthy habits and enjoy healthy snacks at our Training for Life Campus. This week, Athletes made delicious and nutritious fruit smoothies!

St. Joseph Polar Plunge: Saturday, Feb. 24

Braving the icy waters of St. Joseph, participants dove into the frigid depths with exuberance, raising funds and spirits for a worthy cause. Over $30,000 was raised by participants. Great job St. Joseph plungers!

Maryland Heights Polar Plunge and Strut: Saturday, Feb. 24

Daring individuals plunged into icy waters, followed by a spirited 5K, uniting the community for the Maryland Heights Polar Plunge and Polar Bear Strut! Participants raised over $107,000 for our Special Olympics Missouri Athletes. 

Lake of the Ozarks Polar Plunge and Strut 2024: Saturday, Jan. 27

Against the stunning backdrop of Lake of the Ozarks, fearless plungers took the leap into freezing waters, joined by a strut along the shore. Together, they raised more than $268,000 to support our Special Olympics Missouri Athletes.
