SOMO Sum ups Dec. 14th – Dec. 20th
St. Louis Metro Area – St. Louis Area athletes were excited to return to the beautiful new school facility at Francis Howell North High School for a local tournament this weekend, and thankful for the opportunity to stretch their legs at the start of this basketball season. A big thank you to the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams from Francis Howell North for volunteering to referee and keep score!


Tournament attendees also enjoyed a Resource Fair throughout the day, with a variety of area organizations and non-profits offering opportunities for our athletes, thank you to the Francis Howell community for all you do for our athletes!
Southwest Area – Kicking off the holidays the unified way! Nixa, Clever, Ozark, and Galena teamed up to make nursing home holiday cards and then battled it out in a spirited game of Unified Kickball!


Revving into history! Webb City High School launched Missouri’s first unified shop class, and students hit the track with stock cars they built together.

Kansas City Metro Area – The KC Squad had their first exhibition performance at the Kansas City Classic Dance Competition this past Saturday December 13th at Liberty High School!

Southeast Area – The Southeast Area hosted the polar strut on Friday night, December 12 under the Christmas lights in Cape County Park. Over 100 participants braved the cold weather in participation of supporting Special Olympics.
