Here’s a look back at all of the amazing Special Olympics Missouri (SOMO) events from August 20-26, 2024!

Texas Roadhouse Tip-A-Cop: Tuesday, August 20

Our 1st annual statewide Texas Roadhouse Tip-A-Cop took place at 11 locations across the state last week! For the first time, the entire state took part in this fun and impactful fundraiser! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this event.

West Softball Regional: Saturday, August 24

The West Softball Regional Tournament took place on Saturday, August 24 in Lee Summit Missouri from 8 AM – 5 PM at the Frank White Sports Complex. Amazing job to all the athletes who competed!

Scott Wright Memorial Cornhole Classic: Saturday, August 24

The 7th annual Scott Wright Memorial Cornhole Classic took place at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Cape Girardeau last weekend! Congratulations to all the athletes who competed!

Francis Howell Local Softball Tournament: Saturday, August 24

This weekend, Francis Howell Central High School hosted a local softball tournament for 12 SOMO teams around the St. Louis area. The women’s softball team volunteered as umpires, scorekeepers, and selling concessions. It was a hot day but we saw some great competition!
