KC Unified Bocce Intramural with UMKC: Tuesday, April 8

The Unified Bocce program at UMKC is in full swing! Held at Swinney Recreation Center, the 5-week series continues on April 8, 15, and 22. Be sure to check our calendar for future dates and info.

Boonville Central Area Track Meet: April 12, 2024

We appreciate everyone who joined us for the Boonville Central Area Local Track Meet on April 12 at Boonville High School! We saw fantastic competition and incredible teamwork. We’re proud of all the athletes who put in their best effort!

Train for Life Fitness Program

SOMO just wrapped up its first Train 4 Life Cycle at CrossFit Republic, where 13 athletes committed to building healthier, stronger lives. With increased confidence, physical strength, and a strong sense of community, the program made a lasting impact. A special thank you goes to Coach Leslie, the volunteers, and CrossFit Republic for their incredible support. Interested in joining the next cycle? Financial Safety First – FREE Class: Thursday, April 10

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Financial Safety First: Spotting and Avoiding Scams on April 10 at the ProsperU Classroom in Springfield! Rebecca Greene, Director of ProsperU, shared helpful tips to recognize scams and protect personal information. We appreciate all who attended!

Carl Junction Southwest Local Track Meet: Friday, April 11

Thank you to everyone who came out for the Carl Junction Southwest Local Track Meet on April 11 at Carl Junction High School! It was a great day of competition and teamwork! We’re proud of all the athletes who gave it their all!

St. Clair Local Track Meet: Friday, April 11

Friday was a chilly but action-packed day for a local track meet at St. Clair High School.  In addition to fierce competition, the St. Clair High School STUCO treated athletes to snow cones, Victory Village games, cotton candy, face painting and event t-shirts.

Thank you to law enforcement and fire department first responders from all over Franklin County, and to the following generous supporters and sponsors: Pepsi New Haven, Atro Engineered Systems, Ameren Missouri, PLZ Corp, Pelton Pump Company, Farmers & Merchants Bank, Sullivan Bank, Show Me Soils, Harmony Health & Wellness, Empac, Krueger Vending Services, Parkway Church of the Nazarene, All Climate Mechanical, Home Systems, Turkey Solutions, Kids Village, T-Shirt Shack, Dana’s Shaved Ice, Opaa! Poplar Bluff Southeast Area Local Track Meet: Friday, April 11

We had an awesome track meet at Poplar Bluff Jr. High School last Friday. Well done to all the athletes who participated!

North Area Spring Games (East Buchanan): Saturday, April 12

Thank you to all the athletes, volunteers, and supporters who made the North Area Spring Games in East Buchanan a success on April 12! It was an exciting day of competition, camaraderie, and celebration of abilities.

Southwest Area Powerlifting: Saturday, April 12

Great job to all the athletes who joined us for the Southwest Area Powerlifting event on April 12, hosted by CrossFit Republic! We saw some incredible strength, determination, and support throughout the day.

St. Louis Metro Area Volleyball Tournament: Saturday, April 12

St. Francis Borgia High School hosted the St. Louis Metro Area Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, where St. Louis and Southeast Area athletes had a great time competing in preparation for State Summer Games!  Thank you to St. Francis Borgia STUCO for volunteering and to Washington and Creve Coeur Police Departments for handling awards!
