SW Area St. Louis Public School Track Meet: Wednesday, May 1
We had around 500 athletes participate in what is our largest SW Area meet to date!!
“Thank you to our hosts at Webb City high school for all their hard work in organizing the volunteers, lunches, and additional activities for athletes and teams to enjoy the day. All our volunteers were awesome and stepped up in big ways to make the day successful. Thank you to all the coaches who stepped up and helped when we needed an extra hand – it was extremely helpful and didn’t go unnoticed” said SW Development Director, Haley Blevins.
KC Metro Lunch & Learn: Wednesday, May 1
We had a fantastic time connecting with the KC Metro area and learning more about SOMO! Whether you’re a business, organization, or an individual interested in knowing more, we were thrilled to have you join us for 30 minutes from 12-12:30pm.
During the event, attendees had the opportunity to meet a KC Metro Athlete and hear their inspiring story. It was truly heartwarming to hear firsthand how Special Olympics has made a positive impact on their lives.
Additionally, guests had the chance to meet the KC Metro SOMO staff and learn about the various programs and initiatives in the area. It was wonderful to see the passion and dedication of our staff members as they shared their insights and experiences.
All while enjoying lunch, attendees were able to ask questions and engage in meaningful conversations about Special Olympics Missouri and its mission of inclusion and empowerment.
