KC Squad: Tuesday, April 1

We had another great session this week with the KC Squad! The squad continues to grow, and we look forward to more sessions ahead. Click here for more details on the next session!

KC Unified Bocce Intramural with UMKC: Tuesday, April 1

This 5-week program continued last week at UMKC Swinney Recreation Center. The program continues on April 8, April 15, and April 22. Check our calendar for upcoming sessions.

Train for Life Fitness Program

Our Train for Life programs across the state continued last week! These fitness sessions are held in Springfield, Jefferson City, Columbia, and St. Louis. Athletes focus on improving their overall wellness as part of this 12-week program. Check out our calendar for upcoming sessions in your area. KC Metro Area Swimming: Saturday, April 5

A huge congratulations to all the athletes who competed in the KC Area Swimming competition this past weekend! Special shoutout to Lilly Burchett, who was honored with the Rachel O’Brien Heart Award. We were also thrilled to have Senator Joe Nicola on hand to help distribute awards—and even take on one of our athletes in a surprise push-up contest! Events like this wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our amazing coaches, event managers and volunteers. Thank you for making it such a memorable day!

Pattonville Local Swim Meet: Saturday, April 5

Pattonville High School hosted the first spring event for Special Olympics Missouri – St. Louis Metro Area this past weekend, welcoming over 100 enthusiastic swimmers for a local swim meet. A big thank you to Pattonville High School STUCO for hosting and volunteering, as well as Maryland Heights Police, Maryland Heights Fire, and Creve Coeur Police for helping present medals throughout the day!

Hop Into Spring: Saturday, April 5

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday, April 5 for our Hop Into Spring event! Guests enjoyed festive crafts, spring merchandise from The Little Store and Osage Chic Boutique, and adorable photo ops with the Easter Bunny. Proceeds from the day will support Special Olympics Missouri – Central Area.
