SOMO Sum ups Apr. 28th – May 4th
St. Louis Metro Area – The rain held off long enough for this Franklin County-area track meet to finish and we couldn’t have been happier to witness all the new friendships made on the field! Sullivan School District hosted and provided Unified Partners for the big day, thank you to all who planned and participated!
The St. Louis Area track and swim meet on Saturday at Westminster Christian Academy was a standout moment in what’s been an exciting and energetic spring season. With more than 330 athletes competing, the event showcased impressive talent, determination, and sportsmanship across the board. Kudos to everyone who participated and helped make it such a memorable success!
Southwest Area – Last week was a busy one for all of us as we wrapped up two incredible track meets, and we couldn’t be prouder of our athletes. Watching everyone compete, push themselves, and celebrate each other was a great reminder of why we do what we do—there were so many personal bests, big smiles, and moments of pure determination that stood out across both teams. What really made it meaningful, though, was the support surrounding it all, from teammates cheering each other on to the volunteers and coaches who made everything run so smoothly and the donors that made it all possible. It truly felt like a team effort from start to finish, and we’re so grateful to everyone who played a part in making it such a memorable week.
Central Area – On Tuesday 4/28, we hosted Central Area Volleyball at the TLC! Athletes from across the Central Area came out to show their skills and had a great time!
On Thursday 4/30, we had our 1st Central Area Young Athlete competition at Southern Boone High School! Young Athletes from Ashland and Centralia came out to participate in activities like cardio drumming and obstacle courses. We can’t wait for this to become an annual event!
