2024 Recap:
St. Joseph, Mo.
The 11th annual Shamrock 5K Fun Run was on March 16, 2024.
The event was a joint endeavor between local law enforcement and Special Olympics through the Law Enforcement Torch Run® program, which raises awareness and funds for local athletes with intellectual disabilities.
The Shamrock Run wouldn't have been possible without the unwavering support of our dedicated runners and generous sponsors. Their commitment to our cause is deeply appreciated and truly commendable. Together, we've achieved something extraordinary!
This year's event also brought heartwarming results as we collectively raised an impressive $10,400. This contribution will go a long way in supporting our North Area athletes, ensuring they have the resources they need to thrive.
2023 Recap
Our 10th annual Shamrock 5K Fun Run was a huge success on Saturday, March 11, 2023. We had 158 participants, and we raised $10,577 for Special Olympics Missouri!
The event began at Grand Ave & 11th Street in St. Joseph and finished at Norty's Bar & Grill on Frederick. Awards were given at Norty's following the last runner's finish.
