- Route: The run kicks off at Grand Ave & 11th Street, winding its way through St. Joseph and concluding at Norty’s Bar & Grill on Frederick.
- Past Fundraising Success: Thanks to the incredible support of 158 participants, we raised an outstanding $10,577 for Special Olympics Missouri during our 10th annual Shamrock 5K Fun Run on March 11, 2023!
- Awards Ceremony: Join us at Norty’s Bar & Grill for the awards ceremony following the last runner’s finish. Celebrate the achievements and contributions of our participants.

The 11th annual Shamrock 5K Fun Run was on March 16, 2024.
The event was a joint endeavor between local law enforcement and Special Olympics through the Law Enforcement Torch Run® program, which raises awareness and funds for local athletes with intellectual disabilities.
The Shamrock Run wouldn't have been possible without the unwavering support of our dedicated runners and generous sponsors. Their commitment to our cause is deeply appreciated and truly commendable. Together, we've achieved something extraordinary!
This year's event also brought heartwarming results as we collectively raised an impressive $10,400. This contribution will go a long way in supporting our North Area athletes, ensuring they have the resources they need to thrive.
