Wow what a day! Today Special Olympics Missouri had 3 events:
-KC Metro Bowling tournament (area)
-North (area) Bowling Tournament
-St Louis Metro (area) bowling tournament
We arrived at Lunar Bowl at 10am. Darion, Jesse & I bowled at the same time which was at 10:30am, and we are bowling 3 games each. Once we got into Lunar Bowl, we went to find one of our coaches, they gave us our bowling shirt and tag and told us which lanes we were at. Darion and Jesse were pretty close to each other, and I was on the other side. I did pretty well on my first game, but not so good on my last two games. In result I got 2nd place. I’ll say that isn’t too bad. I couldn’t see how Darion and Jesse was doing, so I asked my mom as she was walking back and forth to see me and them compete. Jesse got GOLD and Darion got BRONZE! Great job guy’s!
I thought it was funny that the announcer said “we all know this person, LYNNA HODGSON”! I was like I know who that is!
I really enjoyed seeing my friends who I don’t see very often. And it was great to meet new friends as well. I cheered everyone and was being helpful by telling them it’s their turn. The volunteer that was at our table, I knew her, she was at the selection camp for team Missouri 2022. So it was great to catch up with her. I told her thank you for volunteering!
I was going to do an interview today, but didn’t have time, but I’m still going to do it, so look out for that!
