This annual Polar Plunge wouldn’t have been possible without the generous backing of our sponsors and local law enforcement agencies. SOMO extends heartfelt thanks to sponsors General Mills and Roper Honda for their essential support, as well as the Riversbend Family Resort for hosting this year’s event. A special shoutout also goes to the dedicated teams at Carthage PD and Joplin PD, whose involvement as LETR (Law Enforcement Torch Run) agencies helped make this year’s plunge a resounding success.
Funds raised from the Joplin Polar Plunge will support SOMO’s ongoing mission to provide year-round sports training and competition opportunities for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, promoting physical fitness, courage, and joy. SOMO is grateful for the generosity of the Joplin community and our event partners, whose dedication fuels our athletes’ achievements and inspires future event
