The Truck Convoy is a bi-annual fundraiser in Joplin, Mo., for SOMO. This event is a national one-day celebration of the trucking industry, its allied partners and law enforcement all working together to raise funds for Special Olympics athletes. In 2023, the Truck Convoy raised more than $115,000 for SOMO!
The Truck Convoy is held in conjunction with the Guilty by Association Truck Show, which features demolition derby, truck and tractor pulls, monster truck jams and multiple concerts.

2023 Schedule: Sept. 23, 203 | Joplin, Mo.
- Sept. 20: Registration 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Sept. 21: Registration 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Sept. 22: Registration 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Sept. 23: Lead Truck Auction 4:30 p.m.
- Driver's meeting follows auction
- Convoy departs at 6 p.m.
- The convoy will depart 4-State Trucks and travel to 26th & Maiden Lane, Joplin.
- A free concert will begin at 8 p.m.
UPDATE: The Truck Convoy in Joplin will begin at Exit 4 at 4 State Trucks at 9 a.m. on Sept. 24. We will travel down I-44 to Exit 22 (The Joplin Stockyard) and then back to Exit 4. Please come out to support theses truckers. They have raised more than $100,000 for our Southwest Area athletes!
