Join us for the Inaugural Unified Fishing Tournament, a heartwarming and inclusive event where community anglers team up with Special Olympics Missouri athletes for a day of fishing, friendship, and fun on the water. This unique tournament is designed to promote unity and inclusion by pairing experienced anglers with athletes of all abilities, giving Special Olympics participants the opportunity to learn the sport of fishing in a supportive, hands-on environment. Whether casting a line for the first time or sharing tips from years on the water, each team builds lasting connections while enjoying the great outdoors. Come be a part of a meaningful day that celebrates sportsmanship, inclusion, and the spirit of Special Olympics Missouri!
What to Know
- Check-in 7am
- Launch 8am
- Return to shore by 4pm
- Awards to Follow – Biggest Fish, Smallest Fish, MVP, Most Fish Caught, Most Total Inches, Biggest Crappie, Ugliest Fish, Most Unique Fish.
