Join us for the 2026 Sporting KC Unified Team tryouts! This is an exciting opportunity for athletes and unified partners to compete together, build friendships, and represent inclusion through the game of soccer. Unified Sports brings together individuals with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team to promote inclusion, teamwork, and competitive excellence. Selected participants will have the opportunity to train and compete as part of the Sporting KC Unified Team. Attending tryouts does NOT guarantee a spot on the final roster.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Ages 16–26, this is a co-ed team

• Must be a registered Special Olympics Missouri athlete or Unified Partner (If you are not currently active as either an athlete or unified partner, please reach out to balint@somo.org for how to complete that registration process.)

• Must be available to commit to weekly practices, attend signing day, attend all activities related to the home match, and attend all activities related to the away match

• Participants must be able to travel independently from family/caretakers
