Information
Join SOMO as we partner with the KC Renaissance Festival for its 46th festival by working a booth selling and serving food! The dates are September 4, 9, 10, & 30th, and October 1, 7, and 8. There are two shifts: 8:30am – 2pm and 2-8pm. SOMO receives the money received as payment for working the booths.
Costumes are provided by the festival, and you WILL be asked to “play the part” by using medieval terms, wearing the costume, etc.
A food training class IS REQUIRED ahead of time. The date for the training is TBD. You are also expected to read the policy handbook that will be sent to you after you sign up and you will be required to sign a Harassment and Discrimination policy.
