Our first-ever Strikers for SOMO Bowling Tournamant will be held at Strikers Bowling Lanes, 2017 Christy Drive in Jefferson City. This is a Unified event, pairing SOMO athletes with intellectual disabilities and members of the community as teammates. This Unified approach helps create an environment of acceptance and inclusion. This event provides a unique opportunity to raise awareness of Special Olympics Missouri, show the abilities of our athletes and share our message of unity and inclusion through the sport of bowling.
A 9-Pin No-tap Bowling Tournament means it’s a strike if a player hits nine out of ten pins on the first throw. The term “no-tap” basically means you don’t need to knock down all 10 pins to get a strike.
