This “unbearable” event is a unique opportunity to show your bravery as you support local Special Olympics Missouri athletes by walking, running or crawling into the frigid winter waters. In 2025, the Lake of the Ozarks Plunge had 242 plungers and raised more than $85,000! This one-of-a-kind event promises a fun atmosphere with music, funny costumes and lasting memories for everyone!

Chili Cook-off: 11 a.m.
Pee Wee Plunge: 1 p.m.
Parade of Costume lineup: 1:50 p.m.
Plunge Parade/Opening Ceremonies: 2 p.m.
Plunging Begins: 2:30 p.m.
Registration: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
