2026 Polar Bear Strut Joplin

This “unbearable” event is a unique opportunity to show your bravery as you support local Special Olympics Missouri athletes by walking, running or crawling a 5K in the frigid winter air. This one-of-a-kind event promises a fun atmosphere complete with music, fun and lasting memories for everyone!
Incentives
All participants must raise a minimum of $50 in order to participate. Incentives are in place for those who raise above and beyond the minimum. Please see the flier below for more information.
If you are participating in both the Strut and the Plunge – your totals from both events will be added together for incentive purposes.
