Chili Bingo Night

Chili Bingo Night will be held on Sunday, November 19th at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Mitchell.   Cost is $6.00 per person, 3 and under free.  We will serve at 4:00pm with Bingo starting at 5:30pm.   Great Bingo prizes, 50/50 Raffle and a card game will be held as well.   Come out and let us do your cooking for you and enjoy Chili, Soup, and home made desserts.   All proceeds will benefit local athletes.

2017 Torch Run

It is time for the Law Enforcement Torch Run, the North Area legs of the Torch Run will begin on Tuesday, May 23rd with the Torch starting in Maryville, being passed on to MSHP Troop H and then Savannah and finishing in St. Joseph starting at 3:00pm.  

Wednesday, May 24th the Torch will begin in Chillicothe at the Chillicothe Correctional Center at 9:00am, then to Trenton to start at 10:00am, 12noon in Gallatin and 1:00pm in Cameron. 

Thanks to all the law enforcement officers that will be running the Torch this week in honor of our State Summer Games being held in Springfield         June 2nd - 4th.

Sam's Club Hosts Kickball Tournament to Benefit Special Olympics Missouri

 

When: Saturday October 8th

Where: Midwest Sports Complex (Bluff Woods) 6911 Memorial Highway

Cost: Entry fee will be $100 a teamTeams will consist of 9 players on defense with a minimum of 2 girls on the field at all times.

Eighth Annual Celebrity Softball Game

Celebrity Softball Game Comes to St. Joe

Special Olympics Missouri will hold its eighth annual celebrity softball game Tuesday, Sept. 20 at Phil Welch Stadium in St. Joseph. 

The game will feature celebrities like former NFL players T. Rucker and Michael Hill, and Mayor Bill Falkner among others. It will also feature a Special Olympics softball team, the St. Joe Sluggers.

Tickets will be $4.00 and kids five and under get in free, with proceeds going towards Special Olympics Missouri programs in the North Area. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m., game time is at 6:00. Hope to see you there!

Guardian of the Flame 5K Results

We had a wonderful day for the 1st Annual Guardian of the Flame 5k, it started out a little wet/windy but the sun came out and we had a great event.  The winners and the times are posted below.   Thanks for everyone that came out to volunteer, run/walk or fans on the sidelines.   Thank you to all the sponsors, our total for the event was $2,150.
