Annual Shop 'n Save Gala & Golf Benefit

July 31 & August 1, 2016

Thank you to everyone who supported the Shop ‘n Save Gala and Golf Benefit in 2015. This incredible event benefits more than 6,500 Special Olympics athletes in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

In 2016, you can join this sell-out crowd! The Shop ‘n Save Dinner Gala and Golf Benefit is sold out every year thanks to our partnership with Shop ‘n Save. Because the event is so popular, it is being opened to the public for the first time with a limited number of foursomes available. Entertain friends, family or business associates and enjoy a fabulous dinner gala on Sunday, July 31 and 18 holes of golf on Monday, August 1 at one of St. Louis’s most prestigious country clubs - Norwood Hills.

This event is a project of the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit their charity of choice: Special Olympics. St. Louis County PD and St. Louis City PD are proud to host this event.

Special Olympics Missouri gives children and adults with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to participate in year-round programs, including sports training and athletic competitions, healthy athlete and athlete leadership programs.  Through their participation, athletes have opportunities to form friendships, improve and develop skills and grow as individuals. The joy that each athlete has is contagious; our goal is for everyone to experience the joy they bring and to share it with others.

As we expand access to programs for athletes from the St. Louis community and across the state, Special Olympics is planning to develop a new Training for Life Campus (TLC) in Jefferson City.
