More than 2,000 athletes and coaches, along with family and friends from across Missouri will converge in Springfield May 29-31, 2015 for the Special Olympics Missouri State Summer Games. This will be the first year back in Springfield since 2011. We're excited to be back in the Springfield community and can't wait to see all the support that we know you can give us!

Friday, May 29
11 a.m. - 4 p.m.: Volleyball Competition, Hammons Student Center
7:30 p.m.: Opening Ceremony, Hammons Student Center

Saturday, May 30
7 a.m. - 4 p.m.: Track & Field Competition, MSU Track & Soccer Complex
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.: Aquatics Competition, Drury University Breech Pool
10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.: Powerlifting Competition, Hammons Student Center
10 a.m. - 4 p.m.: Victory Village, Bear Blvd
12 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Healthy Athletes Park
7 p.m. - 9 p.m.: Bingo & Dance, Hammons Student Center

Sunday, May 31
7:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.: Track & Field Competition, MSU Track & Soccer Complex 

VOLUNTEERS: 

Volunteers play a crucial role in putting on these games for our athletes. We rely on volunteers for everything from setup and tear down to timekeepers and awards assistance. No sports knowledge is required, and each volunteer will receive a free T-shirt along with a rewarding experience!  Click here for a video explaining what to expect when you volunteer. Choose the day that works for you and register online:

-Take exit 82A merge onto US-65 S toward Branson
-Take US-65 BUS/Chestnut Expressway exit
-Keep right at fork and merge onto E. Chestnut Expressway
-Left onto N. Sherman Parkway / S. John Q Hammons Parkway
-Left onto E. Madison St to lot 15.

From Cape Girardeau
-Take 55 South
-Take exit 66B onto US60 West-Stay on 60 West
-Take National Ave. exit
-Merge onto S. National Ave.
-Turn left onto E. Grand St.
-Turn right onto S. John Q Hammons Parkway
-Turn right onto E. Madison St to lot 15.

From Kansas City
-Take US 71 South
-Take exit 157 for MO-7 South toward Clinton and follow MO-7 South
-Continue onto MO-13 S
-Turn left onto E. Chestnut Expressway.
-Turn left onto N Sherman Pkwy / S. John Q Hammons Parkway
-Turn left onto E. Madison St to lot 15.

From Columbia/Jeff City
-Take 63 South
-Merge onto 54W/63S
-Turn right merge onto MO-5 S
-Turn left onto N. Jefferson
-Merge onto I-44
-Take exit 82A and merge onto US65 South toward Branson
-Take US-65 BUS/Chestnut Expressway exit
-Keep right at form and merge onto E. Chestnut Expressway
-Left onto N. Sherman Parkway / S. John Q Hammons Parkway
-Left onto E. Madison to lot 15.
