More than 3,500 athletes and coaches, along with family and friends from across Missouri will converge in Columbia May 29 - June 1, 2012, for the Special Olympics Missouri State Summer Games. This will be the first of a four-year term in the city.

    

VOLUNTEERS: 

Volunteers are needed to fill approximately 1,500 volunteer jobs over the course of the four days. Choose the day you want to volunteer, the location and the time all online at the link above. Contact us at volunteer@somo.org with any questions.

REGISTRATION - College Ave Hall 10:00 am – 10:30 pm

COMPETITION:

ATHLETICS - Walton Track 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
• Low Motor Events – 25M Walks/Runs, 50M Walks/Runs, Standing Long Jump, Softball Throw, All Wheelchair events, and T-Ball Throw

BOWLING -Town & Country Lanes  - 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
• Ramp Bowling Events – 1:00 pm
• 2-Game Bowling Events – 3:30 pm

OPENING CEREMONIES – Carnahan Quad – 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Wednesday, May 30

REGISTRATION - College Ave Hall 7:00 am – 11:00 pm

Let the good times roll! Join us for the traditional Parade of Athletes, some great blues music, special guests, the announcement of our 2011 statewide award winners and, of course, the culmination of the statewide Law Enforcement Torch Run!
