Be extreme. Live fearless. Go Over the Edge!

He takes a step forward, and closes his eyes. He breathes in deeply, and says to himself, “I can do this.” He waits for his cue, palms sweating. Then before he knows it, the moment is his. He lets loose and flies. Speed is his goal, and he’s off like a flash. The end in sight, he finishes with arms held high in victory.

Whether that story is about an athlete running toward the finish line, or about you taking a step off the roof of a prominent building (harnessed in safely, of course!), the bottom line is the same: We can't let fear keep us from accomplishing great things.

All it takes is some courage and a minimum of $1,000 raised for Special Olympics Missouri athletes.

Don't delay. Feel the rush yourself! A limited number of spots are available. Click your location below to register or donate to a participant.

This one-of-a-kind event is the opportunity of a lifetime. Whether you plan on rappelling or sending someone else Over the Edge, you can bet this will be a thrilling, adrenaline-pumping, fun experience!

Over-Achievers

Everyone who raises the $1,000 minimum will get an Over the Edge apparel item. In addition, we will have awesome rewards for you over-achievers - to be announced soon! Incentives are not cumulative.

Each participant must raise a minimum of $1,000 to go Over the Edge. For team fundraising, members may “share” their funds with one another to achieve the $1,000 minimum per team member. Each team member’s final balance is what will determine their incentive level. For example, if Team Member A raised $3,400 and Team Member B raised $600, A could “share” $400 with B. They would both qualify to go Over the Edge, and A would still be eligible to receive the $3,000 incentive prize.

STL Area BBallTell me why I'm doing this again?

There are a lot of really good reasons to go Over the Edge, but none greater than the 16,000 athletes of Special Olympics Missouri. Your support tells them that you believe in their abilities and understand the value that sports plays in fostering acceptance and inclusion. This event helps support the 147 competitions, 21 challenge days, 30 Young Athlete Programs, and 74 training schools that occur each year in Missouri. Check out our calendar to find and attend an event near you.

Over the Edge is one of many events hosted by law enforcement to benefit their charity of choice, Special Olympics
