Welcome to Eddie’s Page!
I'm so proud to be a member of Team Missouri, also known as MO Magic! It is an honor to be on this team where we will compete against athletes from the United States. I need your help to make my dream come true. I promise to try my best and make you proud!
Read about me:
Eddie Blaylock has been involved in Special Olympics for four years. In the 2010 National Games he will be coaching power lifting; this will be his first time attending the National Games. Eddie is a trooper for the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and in his free time he enjoys spending time with his family. Eddie’s favorite Special Olympic memories are when he is spending time with athletes.
These National Games will bring together 3,000 athletes from all across the United States to compete in 13 different sports. This national sporting stage will take place in Lincoln, Nebraska July 18-23. Among this group of champions will be Team Missouri, our 160 delegates.
The average cost to send a delegate to National Games is $1,000. Donations will help cover expenses for food, travel, housing, uniforms, training, equipment and other costs pertaining to the National Games. This opportunity is expected to be a life-changing experience for our athletes and coaches. Please help us make this dream a reality.
