Welcome to Social Hypothermia's team page!
Did you know that a group of polar bears is called a celebration? Well, we agree!

If you'd rather hibernate, just make a donation to one of us. Either way, you'll be supporting the best reasons for freezin' - Special Olympics athletes. Through year-round sports, Special Olympics fosters acceptance and inclusion in our community. The money we raise supports local athletes.

About the Polar Plunge

Hundreds of polar bears will break the ice at the 2012 Polar Plunge Feb. 25. This event is an opportunity to show your bravery as you support local Special Olympics athletes by running into the sparkling, frigid waters of Creve Coeur Lake. Proceeds support year-round sports training and athletic competition for more than 15,000 children and adults who participate in Special Olympics Missouri.
