Knights of Columbus and SOMO

The Knights of Columbus Support Special Olympics Missouri on a Variety of Levels
Special Olympics Missouri and the Knights of Columbus Missouri State Council have been partners for more than two decades. The Knights of Columbus have contributed significant financial and volunteer support to help individuals with mental disabilities through programs like "Contest for Concern" and their annual Tootsie Roll drive.

The Knights commit resources on statewide and local levels. In 2003, the Missouri State Council extended their annual commitment by matching a grant from their Supreme Council. Through their generous sponsorship, transportation was funded for Team USA-Missouri to travel to Dublin, Ireland and compete in the World Summer Games. Locally, district members participate by volunteering and collaborating with other districts to raise sponsorship dollars.
