Shop 'N Save and SOMO

Shop 'n Save first got involved with SOMO through the Hall of Fame. Today, their stores help raise more than $200,000 annually through special events. They host Cops on Top events at their stores, an annual golf tournament and auction, Ride for the Gold, I-55 Race Night for Special Champions, Law Enforcement Torch Run(R) T-shirt events and more.

Their relationship with SOMO reaches beyond fundraising. They have developed a personal relationship with our organization and support our events with manpower and resources including the Polar Bear Plunge in Lake Saint Louis, the East Area Spring Games, and the Dodge Raffle.

"Shop 'n Save vendors know that Special Olympics is part of our culture," says Marlene Gebhard, president of Shop 'n Save. "They see the benefits of partnering with a dedicated brand and want to be engaged as well."

Shop 'n Save has even introduced SOMO to some of our biggest supporters in the East Area, such as Bonneville Radio Group.
