Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers Given Award of Excellence

The Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers were recognized as the 2009 Award of Excellence recipient for Special Olympics Missouri (SOMO) at the St. Louis Auto Show on Thursday, January 28, 2010. This is Special Olympics Missouri’s highest award, presented by the board of directors to an organization or business for their years of dedication, financial contribution and partnership. AmerenUE’s “eBill” Promotion Nets $25,000 for Special Olympics Missouri

In late 2009, St. Louis-based AmerenUE announced that it would donate $10 to Special Olympics Missouri every time a UE customer signed up for eBill in the month of December. During the month, nearly 2,500 people signed up for UE’s paperless billing option--yielding $25,000 for Special Olympics Missouri. Read more 

Chet Hollingshead and Ralph Biele Inducted into Special Olympics Hall of Fame

Chet Hollingshead of Sullivan and Ralph Biele of Jefferson City were inducted into the Special Olympics Missouri Hall of Fame on January 16, 2010. As part of this honor, both were recognized by the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame in Springfield on January 31, 2010. See previous years' inductees.
